The South Korean government announced a martial law decree as of 11 p.m. on the 3rd.
Some of you may be curious about martial law and what it is. I’ll tell you what it is

- All political activities, such as the activities of the National Assembly, local councils, and political parties, political associations, rallies, and protests, are prohibited.
- It prohibits any act of denying the liberal democratic system or attempting to overthrow it, and prohibits fake news, manipulation of public opinion, and false incitement.
- All media and publications are controlled by martial law.
- Strikes, neglect, and assembly activities that promote social chaos are prohibited.
- All medical personnel who are on strike or have left the medical field, including residents, return to their main job within 48 hours and work faithfully, and in case of violation, they are punished under martial law.
- Except for anti-state forces and other subversion forces, the good general public takes measures to minimize inconvenience in daily life.
Violators of the above proclamation may be arrested, detained, or seized and searched without a warrant under Article 9 of the Korean Martial Law (Special Measures for the Commander of the martial law), and shall be punished under Article 14 (Penalty) of the Martial Law.
